What It’s Like Working In The Outside Sales Representative Field
An outside sales representative is constantly maintaining contact with existing customers, or scouting for new clients. The day of an outside sales representative rarely starts in the office. The day usually begins with client meetings and sales presentations, then there is some time spent following up on phone calls and checking on email and other electronic correspondence. An outside sales representative learns how to work away from the office using as much technology as possible. The only time the representative is seen in the office is for company meetings, to do in-house sales presentations or to prepare for a major upcoming trade show.
