What It’s Like to Work as a Lane Server
A lane server is a hospitality expert who offers service to bowling alley patrons at the alley bar, restaurant and at the lanes themselves. A lane server is responsible for taking customer orders and then working with the hospitality staff to fulfill those orders in a timely manner. During holiday seasons, a lane server usually works the lanes and the bar, as the bar sees an increase in business during this time. Some bowling alleys keep their bar open after the lanes have closed, and the lane server can usually get extra hours working for the bar on those late shifts.
